There are several alternatives to improving your vision with the trouble of glasses and contact lenses. Most of the time bad vision is a consequence of our nasty habits. We are very hard on our eyes and our eyes are terribly fragile. They want consistent and fragile care.

Among the alternatives for better vision is a technique known as palming. This is a well-liked exercise because we are always moving our eyes. Even if we are asleep our eyes are still moving. The reason that our eyes move so much is in order that they can retain moisture. This process is automated and cannot be stopped, but we are able to slow it down. Palming will help slow down the movement and relax our minds. The rhythms our eyes move are based primarily on how fast our mind is running. Before palming, you need to rub your hands together to make sure they are smooth and warm. Your fingers should be on your forehead and your elbows resting on your knees or the desk. With your eyes shut, think of all of the muscles in your body relaxing.

You shouldn't think of anything else. Do not think of anything that may bother you. Think about pleasant photographs and thoughts. This process can take anywhere from 10 to thirty minutes. After completing the palming exercise everything should be much more clear when you open your eyes. Objects will present themselves in more clear colors and shapes. Poor vision is starting to become an increasing problem among youngsters and teens. It is usually the result of nutritional deficiencies. Omega 3 fatty acids found in tuna, sardines and salmon as well as foods with vitamin A such as carrots, fish, liver, pork and dairy goods are useful in improving your eyesight.
