You can create your own diet by referring to the foods recommended by the government. You may choose from dozens of diet books or drink a diet supplement for one meal of the day. Skipping meals is not good since you will end up too hungry to adhere to the diet plan.
Change food items daily. Have eggs, red meat and high calorie foods only once a week if possible. Have chicken or turkey on the other six days. Try to eat fish once a week too. Some specific foods are healthy for you. For example blueberries, and tart cherry juice is the most recently proclaimed healthy drink.
Eat oatmeal with raisins or dried cranberries. Cholesterol is cleared from the blood when you eat oatmeal regularly. Nuts are good for you, however, they are high in calories. Therefore you should not consume too many of them. Dark vegetables are said to be filled with nutrients.
